PROFILE IN EXCELLENCE: ALPENA ROBOTICS
This year Alpena Robotics specifically took a rookie team from Rogers City under their wing, and with their help and guidance, this young team made it all the way to the state competition. Team 5505 was also given the Gracious Professionalism award by the judges at the Alpena District event this past March. This was due to their commitment to helping other teams overcome challenges and achieve more during district competitions. Due to their desire to help others, regardless of whether it helps them win more competitions or not, Alpena Robotics had made a name for themselves around the state as a group that exemplifies excellence and respect of others. They are very deserving of their honors, and we are proud to call them Wildcats!
