UPDATE:
The Earliest we will return to school is April 13; this is highly unlikely to happen so stay tuned
SPRING EVENTS:
Our goal remains to hold as many Spring events as we can, regardless of the timing. It is very unlikely that we will hold Prom on April 25 due to the Governor's Proclamation for "Stay Home, Stay Safe". We have not postponed it, yet, at this time. The same goes for Graduation. We will do everything in our power to hold Graduation on May 31.
If the state decides to shut schools down for the remainder of the school year we will still work on a plan to hold these events when the Center for Disease Control allows large groups to gather. Even if this pushes these events into June.
SENIORS:
Make sure you have read the letter that I sent out to you back on March 21. Continue to do what you can to progress towards your goals after graduation. There have been some updates on Scholarships so please visit my website to stay updated on deadlines.
AEA 3-Scholarships - deadline has been extended to April 10th. Important.

SPRING PSAT/SAT TESTING:
It is highly unlikely that we will be giving the PSAT-9, PSAT-10, and SAT on April 14. We will be waiting on the state to give us guidance on when and how we will be giving these assessments. We know how important the SAT is for many of our Juniors but so does the Michigan Department of Education and every Post-secondary Institution in the country. Be patient and we will let everyone know what the plan is when we know.
SCHEDULING:
The counselors are working on schedules for next year. They are available to talk to via email if you need to check on something with them.
AP CLASSES:
Make sure you have read the email sent to you by your AP teacher. AP Exams will be a 45-minute exam to be taken online at home that covers 75% of the material a normal AP class would cover. They will not be multiple choice but will only be free-response that measures skills acquired in the course. Specifics for each exam will be posted on April 3.
SPRING SPORTS:
The MHSAA will reassess a potential restart on April 27th. Any school resumption date after the first week of May would probably result in the cancellation of the Spring sports season. If you are a spring athlete we suggest you continue to stay in shape as best you can for when the season resumes.
