On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, voters in the Alpena Public School District will be asked to consider a zero (0) mill increase to provide enhancements to school district facilities.

- PSAT/SAT Impact on Credit Recovery:
- Students will be getting letters on Monday if they failed a core course at AHS in math and English explaining that pending their success on the PSAT and SAT that they can potentially recover credit(s).
- Please review this information and make a plan with your student to prepare for the exam during testing week.
- Khan academy is the best resource, and their current math and ELA teachers have been doing test prep for months preparing them to succeed so make sure that they speak to the instructor personally.

PSAT/SAT PREP:
Students taking Workshop 1 will receive 90 minutes of test-prep instruction with professionally certified teachers experienced in training students in strategies to be successful when taking the PSAT/SAT. The workshop will be divided in two between Reading and Writing (Joe Bastow) and Math (Julie Warner).
