- December is Kindness Month:
- December is a month filled with giving. Here at AHS, we have the Giving Tree and the Food Drive as just a few examples. We would like to challenge AHS students and staff to give each other the gift of kindness all month long.
- What does that look like you might ask?
- Hallways: Let’s try to be polite to one another in the hallways. Let’s say “excuse me” if we bump into each other. Let’s not plow each other over when we’re trying to get to our next class. Let’s keep any swear words out of our conversations to show our respect for one another.
- Classrooms: Let’s follow the teachers’ directions the first time. Let’s not talk when someone else is talking. Let’s be kind to our classmates.
- Online communications: Let’s only put positive comments out there and build each other up instead of tearing each other down. Staff, let’s make sure our emails and communications to one another are filled with kindness.
