- Michigan Mathematics Prize Competition:
- Congrats to Clayton Donajkowski on advancing to the 2nd part of this year's Competition
- Wednesday, December 5 is the second part of the test. The top 1,000 students out of approximately 6,000 are asked to take part 2 of the test. Scholarships up to $2,500 are given to the top 100 in the competition
- Dual Enrollment:
- Students planning on Dual Enrolling in an ACC Class for 2nd Semester MUST make an appointment with their Counselor to complete paperwork before Christmas Break
- Classes fill up quickly so do not delay!
- Food Baskets:
- The dead line for Food Baskets is November 30
- Baskets will be picked up during 3rd Hour
- DECA meeting Tues. 11/20 afterschool in G-104
- KAPUT Holiday Activity Night:
- December 14 from 6pm-10pm
- Activities include big screen gaming, Photo Booth, Crafts, Escape Rooms, Prizes, and LOTS OF FOOD!

- Alpena Exchange Club's Stanley C Beck Youth of the Year Scholarship
- Scholarship is worth $1,000 for any AHS Student
- Must complete an application form and write an essay of this year's theme "How Am I A Catalyst In My Community"
- Must be submitted to Mr. Berriman by February 4, 2019
